OFFICIAL RULES, TERMS & CONDITIONS.
All donations will be processed & given to Gamer Society, a 501c3 registered nonprofit organization (IRS Tax ID: 47-2409137). Funds will be collected via Gamer Society’s software platforms available via “Tiltify” and “Classy.org’ at https://www.classy.org/campaign/lanathon-2019-24-hour-lock-in-for-charity/c231128, then deposited directly into Gamer Society’s accounts after successful processing by merchant providers. The intent of this promotion/program is to generate fundraising & awareness for Gamer Society’s mission to promote STEM education through game design and digital arts, the charity’s page will offer several incentives, rewards & opportunities for donors/event supporters to receive a digital/physical prize.
DONATION TIERS, REWARDS & GIVEAWAYS:
Prizes and rewards will be available to donors during the event at various donation amounts. The prize drawings will be open to US citizens only.
$5 DONATION TIER
– Donate $5 for one entry into the drawing to win:
- (1) of (2) autographed Minecraft posters
- (1) Fallout controller holder
- (1) copy of Destiny 2 for Xbox One
- (1) copy of Injustice 2 for PlayStation 4
$10 DONATION TIER
– Donate $10 for 1 entry into the drawing to win a Minecraft-themed Xbox One S system.
– Some additional donation levels or prizes may be added throughout the campaign, but will honor the original rules set at the launch at May 1st, 2019
– Prizes will be shipped & digital items will be emailed to winners/donors by July 15th after the end of the campaign.
– No limit to number of donations.
– You may receive additional entries if you choose to donate more than the basic donation amount. If you donate at a higher amount, you will be eligible to receive more entries into the prize drawing.
– The odds of winning in any Sweepstakes depend on the number of eligible entries received for that Sweepstakes.
PRIZE TERMS/RESTRICTIONS: Donations are accepted from May 1st – June 30th 2019. The odds of winning in any Sweepstakes depend on the number of eligible entries received for that Sweepstakes.
No cash alternative or substitution of prizes will be allowed, except Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to substitute prizes of comparable value if any prize listed is unavailable, in whole or in part, for any reason. Prizes will be awarded only if the potential prize winner fully complies with these Official Rules. All portions of the prize(s) are non-assignable and non-transferable. Any prizes pictured in point-of-sale, online, television and print advertising, promotional packaging, and other Sweepstakes materials are for illustrative purposes only. All details and other restrictions of the prize(s) not specified in these Official Rules will be determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion.
If available, digital rewards are available to individuals in any country. For fairness to everybody and to avoid security/fraud issues, donors are restricted to receiving 2 codes during the campaign. The digital codes do not expire.
EACH PRIZE WINNER IS SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL FEDERAL, STATE, AND/OR LOCAL TAXES, AND THE REPORTING CONSEQUENCES THEREOF, AND FOR ANY OTHER FEES OR COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH THE APPLICABLE PRIZE. ALL PRIZES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, AND SPONSOR HEREBY DISCLAIMS ALL SUCH WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO, THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND/OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. The potential prize winner may be required to execute an Affidavit of Eligibility, a Liability Release, and (where imposing such condition is legal) a Publicity Release (collectively, “Prize Claim Documents”). If any potential winner fails or refuses to sign and return all Prize Claim Documents within five (5) days of prize notification, the winner may be disqualified and an alternate winner may be selected. Winners will be notified of their promotional prizes up to 10 days after the end of campaign (July 1st, 2019). Allow 4-6 weeks after validation for delivery or arrangement for delivery of prize.
ELIGIBILITY: You must be at least 13 years of age or older to enter any Sweepstakes. If you are over 13, but under the legal age of majority, you should seek parental approval before you enter and you will need to have a parent or legal guardian sign any required documents for winner validation and accompany you on any prize experience. Donors must meet all eligibility requirements in order to be entered into the Sweepstakes and to win a prize. This Sweepstakes is void in any place where the offering of the Sweepstakes or the awarding of a prize is prohibited. Winner of the Xbox One S drawing & additional prizes must reside in the continental U.S. (residents in Alaska and Hawaii are not eligible to win prizes that require shipping to a physical address).
Subject to all applicable laws. Officers, directors, and employees of Sponsor and their parent, subsidiaries, affiliates, distributors, retailers, sales representatives, advertising and promotion agencies (collectively the “Sweepstakes Entities”), and each of their immediate family members and/or people living in the same household are NOT eligible to enter the Sweepstakes or to win a prize. If a potential winner does not respond within forty eight (48) hours after the first notification attempt, or if the prize or prize notification is returned as unclaimed or undeliverable to such potential winner, such potential winner may be disqualified and an alternate winner may be selected. If a potential winner is found to be ineligible, or if he or she has not complied with these Official Rules or declines a prize for any reason prior to award, such potential winner will be disqualified and an alternate winner may be selected.
Donors outside of the United States & United Kingdom/European Union may not be eligible to receive a tax-deduction for their donations.
ALTERNATIVE FREE METHOD OF ENTRY. To enter any of the Sweepstakes levels (described above) without making a contribution, print out the Entry Form and follow the instructions. Mail-in requests must be postmarked no later than 11:59:59 p.m. PT on June 15th, 2019 and received no later than 6:00:00 p.m. PT on June 28th, 2019.
