We’re proud to announce Code Kingdoms as a technology partner, in support of our #YoungCreators Club Initiative.

Beginning tomorrow September 19, students with EMU Bright Futures – Ypsilanti Community Middle School will embark on a 16-week journey to learn how to identify problems and solve them using computer code.

Using the Java computer language, students will be challenged to modify the popular video game Minecraft on-the-fly. Dungeons, custom mini-game modes, and hordes of unsavory characters await our brave adventurers. Through wit, creativity, and sheer force of will, our young heroes will need to band together in order to defeat the forces of evil.

Thank you to all of our #LANathon2017 runners and donors for helping make this pilot project a reality. Additional thanks to Menlo InnovationsGameStart School, and Truic – The Really Useful Information Company for all of your support in powering this initiative. Your generous contributions of time, guidance, and resources continue to inspire our team and the wider community.
